These terms apply to consumer purchases of the physical Power Book 2023 from 100Portraits. They do not limit your mandatory consumer rights. Last revised: 13 October 2026.
02 / Your order and the price
Printed languages: Danish and English.
The book is an A4 hardcover with 224 pages, edition 2023. The shop displays the price and your total, including applicable VAT and shipping, before you place an order. The payment currency is DKK. For delivery in Denmark, the current book price is DKK 630 including 25% VAT, with DKK 70 standard shipping per order.
You can review quantities, details and any personal dedication before selecting “Order and pay”. Placing the order accepts the displayed terms and the obligation to pay. You receive an order confirmation recording your purchase. Obvious errors are handled under ordinary Danish contract law; we do not reserve an unrestricted right to cancel accepted purchases.
03 / Payment and delivery
You can use the cards and payment methods shown at checkout. Stripe processes card details. A card payment may be authorised when you order; the amount is captured only when the book is dispatched.
The book is in stock. Expected delivery in Denmark is 3 to 7 working days from ordering. We will contact you if we cannot meet the stated delivery time. Statutory remedies for delay remain available, including the right to terminate where the legal conditions are met.
Delivery outside Denmark requires separately confirmed shipping charges, delivery times and any import costs before the contract is concluded. The Danish delivery estimate does not automatically apply elsewhere. Risk passes to you only when you or your nominated recipient receives the goods.
04 / Make it personal
You may choose an individual dedication to a named recipient and provide the requested text. This is optional and is never preselected. Check the name and spelling before ordering. Your chosen wording and the withdrawal information are recorded with the order.
A copy made to your individual instructions and clearly personalised with an individual dedication is excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal under section 18(2)(3) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. This is disclosed before you place your order. A standard signature or standard option without a clearly personal character does not by itself remove the right to withdraw.
The exception applies only to the individually dedicated copy. Standard books in the same order retain their withdrawal rights. Your rights regarding defects remain unchanged, including if the dedication differs from what was agreed.
05 / Your 14-day right to withdraw
For books without individual personalisation, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you or your nominated recipient receives the goods. For a single order delivered in parts, the period starts when the last item is received.
Tell us clearly before the deadline by email to contact@hedonist.photo or by writing to the address above. You may use the form below, but this is optional. Simply failing to collect a parcel is not sufficient notice.
After notifying us, you have another 14 days to send the goods to Hedonist Photo - Visuals & SEO, Søtorvet 5, 2., 1371 København K, Denmark. You pay the direct cost of return shipping for an ordinary withdrawal. Keep proof of dispatch. You may examine the book as you would in a shop. You are liable only for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
06 / Refunds
If you withdraw from the entire purchase, we refund the purchase price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Extra costs for a more expensive delivery choice are not refunded. Refunds are due within 14 days of your notice, but we may withhold payment until we receive the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
We use your original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. We also accept withdrawal for standard books within a mixed order containing personally dedicated copies. For a partial withdrawal, we refund the returned book and any original delivery charge that would no longer apply without that item.
07 / If something is wrong
You have a 2-year statutory right to complain about defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act, starting on delivery. Contact us with the order number and a description. A complaint made within 2 months after discovering a defect is always considered timely.
Depending on the circumstances, statutory remedies include repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction or termination. A justified complaint is resolved without cost to you, including necessary return shipping. Contact us to arrange a suitable return method.
08 / Complaints and applicable law
Please contact contact@hedonist.photo first so we can try to resolve the issue. Guidance and current eligibility requirements are available from Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager and Forbrugerklagenævnet at Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. Eligibility depends on the type and value of the dispute; a single book may fall below the minimum threshold.
Danish law applies, without depriving consumers in other countries of mandatory protection under the laws of their habitual residence. These terms do not impose an exclusive court jurisdiction that restricts consumer rights.
