What energizes me on a daily basis is that I’m always moving – always learning. My pride is my daily work – both professional and personal. I take pride in being committed and taking responsibility, no matter what I do, and whether it goes well or badly – because we learn something from both, and learning is the important thing. That’s one of the spices I bring to my role as a leader; listening and being able to enable people to move. We fail and learn from it, and in doing so, we achieve something as a team. The biggest inspiration I get from my two girls – seeing how they challenge themselves and each other, but also how they support each other and their friends. Dealing with all the demands placed on young people today – the ideals, being online 24/7 and the expectations that they can juggle it all. But most of all, watching them grow and learn from it all and form their own opinions and attitudes towards life. I hope I can set an example as a woman, as a mother, as a human being – make the road a little easier for my girls so that they believe in themselves, they listen and they learn – and most importantly, they move a little bit all the time.
