“Success is individual, define it and own it, knowing you have the ability to create your own reality.”
Let the image shift. Stay with the words. What changes in your reading?
Having lived in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ukraine and now Denmark, has made culture a constant presence and influence in my life. Each country I have lived in has its unique traditions, beliefs and ways of life that have enriched my understanding and appreciation of diversity. It has made me aware of the stereotypes and biases that exist within our societies and the importance of breaking them down. It’s also from living in different countries and experiencing diverse ways of living that I’m propelled by a passion to make a difference in people’s lives; to create meaningful and impactful solutions that address their unique needs and challenges, hence the creation of Afrika Consultancy – Connecting Sustainable Businesses to Africa, a business connecting companies, investors, and women in business from the Nordic region and UK with sub-Saharan African markets. I believe we all can contribute towards a positive change on our planet be it socially, environmentally, or economically. Every small action we take can contribute to a greater collective impact. The value of partnerships should not be underestimated in the process; therefore, individuals and organizations should seek out opportunities to collaborate and build strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
