We are all power women in our own way, and when I look at my life, I have achieved a lot. Some things were difficult and others came easier, both professionally and in my personal life. We all face ups and downs, that’s not what matters. What matters is how we use these experiences to grow as a person and what we allow it to do to us. As a young nurse, I traveled to New Zealand as the first Danish nurse, went on to Australia and later England. These trips taught me that I could not know everything in advance, but curiosity, joy and openness to all experiences and what I encountered brought me closer to the culture and people of the countries. I learned that changing direction in my professional life was not dangerous – because hey, what was the worst that could happen? I have taken this with me and taught my children to be brave and dare. My path in life and journey as an entrepreneur has been challenging with mountains to climb. The important thing has been the way I have gotten up and moved on. Gratitude, forgiveness and belief in myself have been important values-and I know I am good at what I do and every day I make a big difference for my clients, my family, my friends and myself. That’s why I always approach the world with a positive attitude. I also work every day to help my customers find their path, overcome challenges and achieve their goals. 100 Portraits 100 Power Women. My wish is that we as women shape a future where we include, support, motivate and help each other – by working as a unified team we can achieve so much more and inspire others to be brave, authentic, empowering communities and each other.
