THE PERSON BEHIND THE PORTRAIT

In her own words

I thought my career was what made me a power woman, and it’s definitely part of my identity, but I’ve discovered that it’s not about title, salary or power necessarily. My career is only one part of me; I’m also a mother, daughter, girlfriend and sister. A power woman fights for what she believes in, works hard for herself and her family – works hard. A power woman also knows her limitations and asks for help. At times I am mostly a leader, at others mostly a mother, daughter, etc. and I do my best to be the version of a power woman that is needed, but not all at once. Or really, I just try to be me.
