Powerful is not confined to societal norms or external perceptions; it resides within the mindset we cultivate. Despite the challenges I’ve faced as a woman in a male-dominated and conservative workenvironment at times, and the misconception that femininity is synonymous with weakness,it has fueled my stubbornness and will to connect with others to do good things. One of my favourite things is to connect people and experience the positive synergies. Some become friends or start a new business together. When I can empower others, it makes me happy, especially women. I don’t understand why we earn less in the same role as men and with equal experience. Still. It’s absurd. As a child, my quirkiness andlove for readingmade me feel different from my peers.Being a lonelychildfueled my imagination. My imagination and creativity are some of my biggest strengths. I never have to be bored. I dream detailed dreams every night and can envision beautiful places whenever I need to escape a dull moment. My need to paint stems from my rich inner life and imagination. Living independently with my child has been a testament to my independence, defying societal expectations, while creating a thriving environment for both of us. I am proud of the life I have built, unapologetically embracing my passions, painting and exploring the world on my terms. I have learned that resilience is not derived from fitting into a predetermined box, but from embracing the fullness of who I am. True power lies in self-acceptance and the courage to be authentic, no matter what strangers or neighbours think. I continue to carve out my own path, reminding myself that it is through embracing my individuality that I unlock my true power.
