“I am my own product and achieve success by being authentic and true to myself. I believe that things can be done with my drive and by trying hard.”
Let the image shift. Stay with the words. What changes in your reading?
Today, I live my passion inspired by art, architecture, culture and nature. It’s my way of recharging, re-energizing and finding new inspiration. I’ve always had the interest and cultivated it in my spare time – creativity is inherent in me, but it’s only later in life that I’ve gone down the paths I’ve found interesting professionally – and then it led to a career change, new network, etc. as a consequence of giving in to something that really speaks to me. It has opened up new paths and given me the success I have today as a consultant in a department, ‘Architect & Design’, at Holmris B8. My passion for the aesthetic and the sensual started with a love of hand-picked vintage interiors, exciting auction finds and art, combined with an attraction to colors, design and textiles. I feel that many people pursue the safe over the interesting. I would like to pass on to my children and my surroundings that you should take chances and not go for the safe, the money, the expected. To find your passion and dare to give in to it. That’s my super power! – Then the rest will follow. As a woman and single mother with two children, I follow my interests, have made a career change and do what I enjoy and am best at, both in my professional and personal life. I am told that I inspire others with my passion, my empathy, my passion and my drive. This summer, my children and I traveled to Japan, an educational trip we planned ourselves, a glimpse into another culture and indeed into the world of aesthetics. It was in every way a journey into what our hearts desire. It is my life goal to make the most of life – to experience and live life to the fullest.
