My childhood was complicated. I had issues at home, which affected my schooling and learning. I was, however, always good at math and fascinated by technology. I created my first website at 13, about me and my rabbit. Still, I didn’t feel like I fit in the tech world -it was promoted for men and male-only jobs. In other words, I felt lost for years and not suited to anything. One day, a woman in tech walked into the classroom and introduced BeautyTech. I instantly felt like I found my way in life. I took my master’s in software engineering and spend years figuring out how I could disrupt the chaotic and unsustainable beauty market with the newest technologies. I developed state-of-the-art AI to identify a person’s unique faceand hair characteristics relevant for beauty product recommendations.Today, I’m the CEO and founder of Compar: A BeautyTech startup utilizing AI and machine learning to identify consumers’ unique personal characteristics and recommend beauty products on the market. I want Compar to become your go-to personalized beauty marketplace offering all you need for beauty in one place. Education and guidance, for better consumption and beauty outcomes. I want to inspire other women and show them the varieties andpossibilities in tech. I want to become the role model I myself desperately needed. I want to show people coming from a tough background like me, that you can become and build something bold. That’s what my song and tattooed symbol stand for.
