Four ways of seeing. Choose your perspective.
“Be wild and be calm. Move your body and seek the stillness of your mind. Then you can hear your body and your truth.”
Let the image shift. Stay with the words. What changes in your reading?
Joy and gratitude come to me when I know myself, have a strong and mobile body, when I can breathe deeply and when I can quiet my mind and feel peace within. Everything is changeable and I also encounter life crises, so I seek stability and find support in my physical body, meditation and breathing. I used to be easily carried away by other people’s truths, but I have learned that if I know my body’s signals, I feel my truth clearly. Based on my own personal story and with knowledge and experience from mindfulness, meditation, yoga and physical training, I offer to help and guide other women with the tools that have worked and still work for me. I still fall into the ‘hole’ and let myself be misled by the outside world, and I immediately feel that I have lost touch with myself. This is where my tools that I have learned and honed over more than 20 years come in handy and I come ‘home’ to myself again and again. Mindfulness and yoga are my primary focus today when I teach. Firstly, the methods are effective for the brain and our ability to concentrate. On the other hand, the methods strengthen the body, so we also become better at all other sports and everyday life as a whole. But I also use tools from shadow coaching and my experience as a facilitator of small and large groups for many years. To be able to teach as many people as possible, I now teach primarily online, but am also hired for physical events and retreats, including at La Santa. I used to be an elite swimmer and have won Danish championships in Latin and standard dance. Swimming is still my favorite sport and I have been a winter swimmer for 20+ years. I also do strength training, TRX, Pilates, running and long walks.
